My name is Ryan Sarda and I am a 22-year-old college graduate, and I am very new to the town of Sanford and to the “working world.” I graduated from Western Carolina University in the Class of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication focusing in Print Journalism. Being at the Sanford Herald is a big dream come true for me, and I promise to not disappoint anyone.
I grew up in Durham and attended Southern Durham High School. Being a sports reporter is something I have always wanted to do ever since I was a little kid. I love sports, I love writing, so I figured I’d put the two together. I consider myself a lucky man because I got a job right out of college, which is something that is excruiciatingly difficult.
I am also a very lucky man because I have a beautiful girlfriend who I have been with for 4 years. She is literally my college sweetheart. We met during our freshman year, and we grew as a couple and we graduated together. It’s been four of the best years of my life, and we are still going strong. She graduated from Western Carolina with a degree in Public Relations. She lives in Greensboro working at her father’s Property Management Company.

Well there Mr. Sarda, I am happy to hear that you are doing what you have always wanted to do and I am happy to hear that you are just happy all around. I remember you when we were just chilling in class at Southern and now you are this big time writer now…well stay stong and keep doing big things.

Hi,
I visited your sports blog The Performance Enhancing Blog at http://ryansarda.wordpress.com/. You have really great articles and I’m glad I found your site.
I would like to know if you’re accepting guest blog posts, I’d like to send you an original blog entry on basketball which I think would fit nicely with your site. I’m doing this for free but would only require 1 backlink in the article to my site.
Please let me know if you’re interested in publishing this basketball blog entry so I can send it to you for publication soon.
Thank you

Nice blog. You’re truly lucky to find your dream job right out of college. I’m doing my best to follow in your footsteps at the Mountaineer. Hopefully I’ll be the next in line of successful proteges’ of “The Godfather” to make their mark on the sports reporting wordl
